ONE visit root canals. Virtually painless!
A root canal is a procedure to fix a tooth by removing the pulp chamber of a tooth and filling it with a filling material. This is often necessary when dental decay reaches the nerve of the tooth (or the tooth has become infected), and a simple filling will not be suitable.
In the not too distant past, the situation mentioned above would have required the tooth to be extracted. When dentists started performing root canals, they were quite painful, and the root canal has received a reputation as something to be avoided. However, with modern anesthetics and technology, the root canals we perform in our practice are tolerable and as painless as possible.
Many patients travel from long distances just for this procedure as it now can be done in a fraction of the time.
Missing Teeth? Why Not "Grow" New Ones!
Dental implants are the ideal way to replace a lost tooth, especially in the front of the mouth where they are most visible. Unlike bridges or removable dentures, which sit on top of the gums, dental implants are placed under the gums. The "tooth" placed on an implant appears life-like, because it comes through the gums just like the original did - it's like growing a new tooth!
They look AND function just like natural teeth. They are so lifelike that even dentists have to look closely.
Implants can be used to replace any number of lost teeth. Even people with no teeth can benefit from implants, because they can replace their dentures with teeth that are solid enough to eat any food, don't move around when they talk, and don't need to be taken out at night.
Now you can enjoy the foods you’ve been missing.
Intra-Oral Camera Makes You a Part of the Team
The doctors work hand-in-hand with patients to create a bond of teamwork. One of the ways we bring this about is through the use of a high-tech tool, the Intra-Oral Camera.
This amazing device is a miniature video camera that displays a close-up picture of the inside of your mouth. You can see for yourself what work needs to be done and which teeth are doing fine. You then become a participant in each dental decision. You'll love how this works!
